The Bachelor of Circus Arts at NICA is a three-year, full-time program designed to equip students with the skills, networks, and knowledge necessary for a successful career in circus and physical theatre. The curriculum includes specialisations in two circus apparatus or disciplines, performance and movement studies, and academic subjects such as anatomy and biomechanics, history and culture of circus arts, the business of circus, the contemporary circus industry, and music and circus. Classes are scheduled Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm, providing immersive and experiential practice-based studies in contemporary circus arts. NICA's world-class facilities and supportive faculty aim to instil technical excellence and enable each creative artist to flourish, preparing students for a viable and sustainable career in the performing arts.
