About this opportunity
Berlin's major summer festival for contemporary dance and performance art research. Over 80 research workshops across 4-day, 6-day, and 8-day formats led by international contemporary dance and performance artists. Participants build their own programme from: Performance Projects (13 days, culminating in 3 public shows), Research workshops (technique, composition, improvisation, somatic practices), Mentoring sessions, and Framing Motion courses. Apply for specific workshops by submitting bio, video, and health information. Applications open until one day before each workshop start.
Dates: July 6 – August 2, 2026, Berlin. Fall edition: October 19 – November 1, 2026. Rolling applications — apply up to one day before each workshop begins. ⚠️ 'Free Radicals' early-pricing deadline: May 31, 2026.
