Intensive Summer Camps

The Circus Arts Program at École nationale de cirque is a comprehensive three-year, full-time curriculum designed for individuals aspiring to become professional circus artists. Offered in both French and English, the program combines intensive circus training with general education, culminating in a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC 561.D0) or an Attestation of Studies from the School. Students receive personalized instruction tailored to their needs and interests, fostering the development of their technical, physical, and artistic potential. The program offers two profiles: Generalist, focusing on two primary disciplines with a third complementary discipline starting in Year 2, and Specialist, concentrating on one primary discipline with a complementary discipline beginning in Year 2. This structure aims to produce highly qualified and versatile circus artists ready for the professional world.

Scholarships: Financial assistance is available for Canadian citizens through their respective provincial ministries. Additionally, the National Circus School Foundation offers scholarships to students who lack sufficient financial resources to pursue professional training, regardless of their status.
Requirements: Completion of secondary studies equivalent to a Québec Secondary School Diploma.
Sustained practice in circus arts, dance, or another relevant acrobatic, athletic, or artistic discipline.
Submission of a complete and compliant application.
Successful completion of the audition process, including a mandatory video pre-audition and, if selected, an in-person audition or additional video audition.
Proficiency in French, as assessed during the admission process.
Language of instruction: French and English
