Physical Theatre Educational Year

The Physical Theatre Educational Year is a 10-month intensive program in Berlin designed for performers aged 17 to 57 who wish to explore the expressive possibilities of the body. The curriculum combines practical training with theoretical seminars, covering areas such as mime, masquerade, clowning, object theatre, dance, and voice work. Participants will develop physical perception and an independent artistic language, preparing them for further studies or a professional career in the performing arts.

Cost: €3,800; installment payments are possible at no additional cost.
Requirements: Open to individuals aged 17 to 57 with a motivation to explore unconventional forms of performance and develop their own artistic language. Suitable for those preparing for entrance exams to physical theatre schools, drama schools, or performance courses, as well as individuals with experience in theatre, dance, music, or circus who wish to deepen their physical performance skills.
Language of instruction: English and German; international participants are supported but are expected to actively work on learning German.
