Professional Circus Program — INAC

### Overview
A two-year professional programme focused on the technical-artistic dimension of contemporary circus. The first three months cover the fundamental bases of acrobatics and circus techniques, after which each student chooses a specialty discipline.

### Curriculum
Alongside specialist circus training: acrobatics, movement, interpretation, laboratory and research, anatomy, aesthetics and history of the circus, and dramaturgy. Year one emphasises collective creation; in year two each student develops an authorial solo work.

### Schedule
2-year course, 2,800 total hours. September to June, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30.

### Cost
€3,900 per year.

### Admission
Open to applicants over 18 (a high-school diploma is not mandatory); a medical certificate for sports activities is required. Selection: physical fitness test (strength and flexibility), acrobatic tests, interpretation and movement workshops, an individual act of up to 3 minutes, and an interview.

### Scholarship
INAC offers one full scholarship each year for the 2-year professional programme, selected after the class is formed.

### Language
Portuguese (some teachers also speak English, Spanish and Italian).
