Professional Course (Curso Profesional) at Escuela de Circo Carampa

The Curso Profesional at Escuela de Circo Carampa is a 2-year intensive program for young people seeking multidisciplinary preparation to continue at higher circus schools or begin a professional career. Limited to 40 students per cycle, totalling ~2,500 training hours over the two years.

**Schedule**

- 35 hours/week (~1,150 hours/year)
- Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 (with variations and some weekend activities/practices)
- Year 1: October 2026 – July 2027
- Year 2: October 2027 – May 2028

**Curriculum**

Basic Formation: Dance, Acrobatics, Theater, Physical Preparation, Safety Techniques.

Specific Formation: Juggling, Aerial Techniques, Equilibristics.

Pedagogical Formation: Pedagogy and teaching practice.

Theory: Circus History, Anatomy, Theatrical Theory, Dramaturgy, Production.

End-of-cycle public performances are required. The program is in the process of official recognition by the Ministry of Education as superior artistic education.

**Application & audition**

Auditions required for admission. Open to anyone with a serious interest in circus arts — no specific technical prerequisites listed.

First call (June 2026):

- Exam dates: 16–18 June 2026
- Results: 19 June 2026

Second call (September — if seats remain):
- Registration deadline: 5 September 2026
- Exam dates: 8–10 September 2026
- Results: 11 September 2026
