Generación Circo — Permanent Residency Open Call 2026–2027

Overview

Generación Circo (Scimmie Volanti, Madrid) runs a permanent open call accompanying emerging and consolidating contemporary-circus companies through a creation residency.

What's provided

• Up to 4 weeks of residency in a 10×10 m studio (4.95 m height, sprung wooden floor, sound system, floor anchors, truss at 4.5 m)
• One week of professional mentoring (production, artistic direction, rigging/safety, movement, scenography, festival circuits, legal)
• €1,000 creation funding for up to 8 selected companies, plus professional photography
• No accommodation provided

Eligibility

Emerging or consolidating circus artists/companies with a creative project (short or long format), available within the 1 February 2026 – 30 November 2027 residency window.
